Some Catholic parishes now have the option for the parents to teach First Communion to their children through Catholic Homeschooling and sometimes this is the only option. Regardless of the situation, teaching a child Catechism from home in preparation for First Communion can be a large responsibility. What’s a parent to do with such a large job of teaching their child the Catholic faith?

You could always begin with lesson plans that you create. Each lesson could be the basic understanding of Catholicism. For example: One lesson plan could be about prayer and another could be about the components of the Mass.
